Mud Australia opens the doors to its Marrickville studio for a night of tours, talks, live demonstration and art from our creative team.

Founded in 1994, Mud’s porcelain range, designed by Shelley Simpson, combines handmade processes, clean lines, colour palette & functionality. Mud ceramics neatly intersects a minimalist aesthetic with an artisan finish. Mud happily fits in any interior, providing a timeless alternative to mass produced ceramic design.

As a small business, we strongly believe in the global values of craft and community, so we have invited our worldwide Mud team to participate in a group exhibition. The “Mud Club” exhibition spans across a wide range of mediums, with works for sale from celebrated Australian and international artists.

Talks from Mud’s founder and designer Shelley Simpson on Australian Design will kick start the evening alongside demonstrations of how each piece of porcelain comes to life. Mud has teamed up with feather and bone, a local ethical butcher to BBQ and a local brewer (Young Henrys) to provide fresh beverages for the evening.
