University of Technology, Sydney and the Powerhouse Museum

building your edible green wall 2

After checking out the Museum’s Vertical Walls in the new Cafe, this talk can be enjoyed by all meal makers! If there is someone in your family who thinks chips are a decent vegetable serving or protests something is too green to eat, this session is for you!

According to a recent study by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, less than 1 in 10 Australians aged 12 and over usually eat sufficient serves of vegetables.

Our stellar panel of: leading nutritionist and author, Rosemary Stanton; environmental advocate Jon Dee of DoSomething! & Meat Free Mondays Australia; and one of our brightest culinary stars, Jared Ingersoll, of Ready Steady Cook and Danks Street Depot fame; will explore how to plant the seed of a passion for plants in the young and not so young. They will also fill you in on where to find the best nutrition and share some delicious recipes.
