How to build an edible greenwall

PRESENTED BY

University of Technology, Sydney and the Powerhouse Museum

Edible wall

Got some used soft drink bottles? Then you, too, can build an edible greenwall!

In this talk, Mark Paul, Landcare, UTS building design students and other greenwall experts (who have built the bounteous edible walls on display in the Powerhouse Museum’s cafe) will show you  how you can build an edible greenwall in your home, school, community centre or workplace. You don’t need tons of space – just a passion for food, fun and a green thumb!

The amazing wall featured was built by school children from Sydney’s St Rose’s at Collaroy Plateau. Mark Paul of The Greenwall Company devised this ingenious creation and the PET Project Greenwalls (backed by Landcare Australia) was a finalist of the United Nations Association of Australia World Environment Day Awards – Environmental School Award.
