Early Australian poems and stories are the inspiration for a collection of clothes, accessories and artwork in this collaboration between artisan dressmaker Theresa Jackson from Sark Studio and artist designer Julie Paterson from cloth. Julie has been reading poetry by her namesake Banjo Paterson, inspiring her to paint images on silk accompanied by some of his evocative words. She has created lengths of fabric that, in collaboration with Theresa, form the basis of a limited range of clothes and accessories with a unique Australian charm and bush sentiment. This evocative, romantic and contemporary collection is being launched during Sydney Design 2011.

EXHIBITORS: Theresa Jackson and Julie Paterson
